Mohammad Raafi Hossain is the Bangladesh-born co-founder and chief executive of Fasset, which offers Sharia-compliant digital banking and investment for emerging markets.

In May 2026 Fasset raised a $51 million Series B, with Japan's SBI Group and Investcorp among the investors. The company says it handles more than $32 billion in yearly transactions and has over 2 million wallets in 125 countries, with regulatory approvals in the UAE, Indonesia, the EU, Türkiye, Pakistan and Malaysia.
