The Bangladesh-born founder of AirTrunk, which Blackstone acquired in 2024, was named Australia's Business Person of the Year twice.

Robin Khuda was born in Bangladesh and built AirTrunk in Sydney into one of the largest data center companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2024 Blackstone agreed to buy AirTrunk in a deal valued at about $16 billion. The Australian Financial Review named Khuda its Business Person of the Year in both 2023 and 2024.
